Cowley F.C. was formed in the summer of 2004. Most of the players are local and have known each other from school days.
The player/manager is Andrew who has wanted to start up a team for a number of years, and in 2004 set up Cowley F.C.
Cowley F.C. plays in the Sunday Hayes & District League,Div 4 in the Middlesex FA.
In our first season we started in Div 5 which was the bottom division. We finished in 3rd place and were promoted for the season 2005-2006.
Last season we finished mid table and managed to stay in division 4.
The Sponsor from 2004 Is Simply Secure Solutions Ltd. We have a joint sponsor, The Crown PH in Cowley High Street, for our new season which will be our new home after our games.
2006 season sees us move to a new venue The Cowley Rec where we will play all our home games.
OK so last year was a bad year with some new players on board we hope that the season of 2007/8 will be a better year.
We have now moved across the road to the Coachmans for match days.
How qualified/capable is your football team's registered first aider?
Qualified and fully capable
Has done some basic training but is hardly qualified. It's just to meet regulations really.
