| BIOGRAPHY |
Has been manager of the Congs since the very beginning.
Claims to have been a goalkeeper during his playing days but his technique of turning his back and jumping out the way leads us to believe this could be a false claim.
Through the majority of his years in charge, Roy has done everything for the club, from attending the league meetings to washing the kit.
Roy has a good relationship with the players and often shares in the dressing room banter (although he receives more stick than he dishes out). Roy’s master tactics of making subs when 4-0 down or 4-0 up confuses not only his opponents, but most of the Congs playing staff as well. However, there must be a method to his madness as he has led the Congs to 3 promotions and numerous cup semi-finals.
Roy is a great fella to get on with and has provided the team with some great laughs in the dressing room, most notably when he wrote down his own sons name incorrectly on the team sheet
